HUMANE SOCIETY AWARDS BOY'S BRAVERY (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 16. The award of the Royal Humane Society's certificate to a boy of 14 year* for rescuing another lad in difficulty iu rough sea at Pohara Beach, Takaka, Nelson, was made at a meeting of the society held at Dominion headquarters to-day • , Entering a very rough sea on Janu-, ary 10, when the tide was rapidly running out, Brian. Vernon Robertson waded out to the assistance of lan William Foskett, aged 10.
