—Ministerial.— \ The Hon. A. H. Nordmeyer,_ Minister' of Health, accompanied by his private secretary (Dr M. Finlay), arrived in Dunedin last night. The Minister met members of the Otago Hospital Board and discussed the hospital building programme. He also met a number of private deputations. Mr Nordmeyer left this afternoon for Oamaru. —Air Passengers.— Passengers from the north yesterday afternoon were:—Mr H. 'Brown, -Mr and Mrs J. McKenzie, Mr S. W. Burnett, who returned recently on furlough, left Dunedin yes.terday for his home at Halfway Bay, Lake Wakatipu. . Mr J. H. Hinton has been appointed a member of the- Dunedin South Licensing Committee to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr 'W. J. Lovell. Captain .Noel Crump, of Auckland, arrived in Dunedin last night, and is staying at Wain's Hotel. Captain Crump, who left New Zealand with the first echelon, was severely wounded in the Middle East and returned to New Zealand some time ago. Before the war he was the winner of many New Zealand swimming championships, and the holder of several records. He represented New Zealand at the British Empire Games in London, in 1934, and again four years later in Sydney.
