CITIZENS' WELCOME 2nd N.Z.E.F. FEOM. OVERSEAS TOWN HALL TUESDAY, JULY 20, AT 8 P.M. His Worship the Mayor (A. H. Allen, Esq.), tlio members of the City Council, and the citizens generally extend a cordial Welcome to all men of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. who are now in the city on furlough from any of the several theatres of war overseas, together with those who have previously returned from active servce overseas, to be present at a Citizens' Welcome in the Town Hall on the above-mentioned date. Men from the suburban areas between Port Chalmers and Mosgiel will be heartily welcome. The function will take the form of a dance, with vocal and other excellent entertainment items, and a special supper. Tickets for admission and supper are being posted as far as possible to returned men for the invitee and lady partner. Will returned men who are not contacted please call at the Town Clerk's office for ticket? Admission tickets for the gallery for next of kip who may wish to witness the function may also be obtained at the Town Clerk's office. The earliest possible application for tickets. is requested. Anderson, Esq), Members of the Council, and Residents generally extend a CORDIAL WELCOME to all men of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. who are now in the borough on furlough from any of the several theatres of wer overseas, together with those who have previously returned from active service overseas, to be present at a WELCOME in the CORONATION HALL on the abovementioned date. The function will take the form of a Social and Dance, Vocal and other excellent Entertainment. St. Kilda Municipal Band will also be in attendance.
