BOWLING
KAITUHA CLUB Mr R. S. Brown presided over a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Kaituna Bowling Club. The following officers were elected for the Coming season: President, Mr H. Miller; immediate past president, Mr R. S. Brown; vice-president, Mr H. C. Jones; treasurer, Mr F. H. Williams; secretary, Mr J. A. Brown; auditor, Mr F. W. Hbddinott; delegates to the centre—Messrs J. J. Davis (executive), D. Staildage, and H. S. Reid; committee—Messrs F. Taylor, Jack Milne, H. D. Campbell, D. A. Swann, J. Haig, D. White; selectors—Messrs D. White, J. Haig, J. Milne; club tie supervisor, Mill. S. Reid; convener of Gardening Committee, Mr J. Leech. Following the presentation and installation ,of a full-feized billiards table, with all accessories, by Mr James Milne, it was decided that a social committee should be Appointed to develop this new activity ut the chip.
The club tie winners were as follows: Champion singles, F. Taylor; champion pairs, "F. Taylor (skip), and A. W. Israel; handicap singles, H. Miller; club pairs, J, Leech (skip) and L. O. Chive'rs.
