GENERAL GIRAUD'S AMBITION
(Rec. 8 a.m. LONDON, April 16: "I want to reorganise the army with people who know how to fight, who want to fight, and who have the means to fight," said General Giraud in a speech broadcast by the Algiers radio. "We have '400,000 men under arms." he said. " I hope to take 300,000 of them to France. My only ambition is to re-enter Metz as victor."
