DAILY INTERCESSION.
Almighty God, Who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth and of thorn that are afar off upon the sea, we implore Thy favour and protection for the officers and men of our navy and the merchant marine. Let Thine everlasting arms be underneath and around them. Be with them in the silent watches of the night and the strenuous business of the day. Give them inivard peace, and grant that when they have passed through the battles and storms of this life they may come into the haven of everlasting rest through Jesus Christ our Lord.
