QUARTERLY SESSIONS The quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court * which will be presided over by Mr Justice Kennedy, will open on Tuesday next at 10.30 a.m. Following is the list of cases set down for bearing : —For Trial.— Charles Edward Armishaw. alleged assault, causing actual bodily harm. James Allan Godso, alleged receiving stolen property (five charges). —For Sentence. — Thomas William Parry,o breaking and entering and theft. Robert Andrew Fergussoii, breaking and entering with intent. CIVIL CAUSES. Before the judge and a jury of 12: Catherine Margaret Kelleher, v. H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd. and Waterfront Control Commission, and Port Line Ltd., accidetit allegedly causing death; damages claimed, £1,278 16s. Angus Roderick Baxter and His Majesty the King v. ,Co-operative Dairy Company of Otago Ltd.. collision caused through alleged negligence; damages claimed, £4,332 10s 4d. James Alexander Thomson v. the Love Construction Co. Ltd., damages claimed as result of accident during employment, £1,566 2s 6d.
