TAIERI RIVER TRUST

The monthly meeting of the Taieri .River Trust was presided over by Mr H. W Wilson (chairman). The Chairman of Works reported that the dragline had completed operations for the financial year; that the painting of the pumping station buildings had been completed; that the work of widening the lake drain was now in hand; and that it was intended to make a start on cleaning the main drain. —Approved. The Rehabilitation Board asked for particulars of _ work that could absorb returned servicemen.—The clerk was instructed to supply particulars of the balance of the work of deepening Lee Creek. • . .
