APPEALS HEARS TO-DAY Further appeals were dealt with hf th# No. 2 Armed Forces Appeal Board—Mewr* J. R. Bartholomew; S.M; (chairman), 'J. Price, and H. Hodgson—this morning, jap A. N. Hagrgitt represented the Crown. Tho appeal by,G. H. Mattingly, boot re» pairer, on the ground of public interest, was dismissed, appellant not to be called up before September 30. . . _ T The appeal of A. W. Cooper-for E. Pedlow, Joiner, was adjourned m for three months; the appeal by William Taylor and Sons Ltd. for N. # L. Mason, head storeman packer, was similarly dealt with. . The following appeals were adjourned sma die, conditional upon the reservist ser with the Home Guard:—Waters, Ritchie, and Co. Ltd for W. A. Montgomery, wool classer; City Dyo Works for M. Br Muir, head dyer; J. S. Samsou and Co. for H* Mnssen, foreman; -A. W, McCunu for L. Chesney carrier; the Trustees and. Agency Company Ltd. (as trustees of James Dun. lop and Co.) for E. J. Pettigrew, accountant; A H. B. Pouller and Co. Ltd. for Si. Pouiter, director.
