HARD OF HEARING LEAGUE

Eulogistic references to the work of the president, Dr W. E Carswell, were made at the fust, annual meeting of the Otago branch of the New Zealand Hard of Hearing League last evening. The following officers were elected;—President, Dr W. E. Carswell; vice-president, Dean Cruickshank; hen, secretary and treasurer,' Miss M. Telfer; committee-—Messrs R, Fraser, A. I. Wood, Magnus Thomson. T. A. Morland, W. E. Earilshaw. A. C. McGeorge, Mesdames B. Kerr, G. Reilly, Misses E. C. Gawn, L. Gillies. M. Park, H. Miller, and J. Brugh.
