ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
INJURIES PROVE FATAL. Mrs Annie Elizabeth Smith, aged 00, of Newmarket (Auckland), who was injured when she foil from a safety zone underneath a tramcar, died in hospital. BICYCLE ACCIDENT. John Connell, a hoy living at 50 College street, was admitted to the Public Hospital at 2.30 -p.m. yesterday with injuries to the head and face received when he fell from his bicycle on the Main South road. BAD FALL. Mr Edward Lookstone, an elderly married man, residing at 25_ Russell street, was admitted to hospital yesterday with a fractured leg, the result of a fall in George street last Friday, CHILD INJURED. Joan Walker, aged two years, of 356 Castle street, was admitted to the Public Hospital yesterday suffering from concussion, the result of a fall in Castle street.
