GANDHI HECKLED
DISORDER AT MEETING (Rec. 11.25 a.m.) BOMBAY, Jan. 25. Shouts of “ Boycott Gandhi,” stonethrowing, and the waving of black flags greeted Gandhi when he addressed a public meeting at Nagpur. The crowd complained that Gandhi, who was once the foremost champion of the untouchables, was no longer interested in them. Gandhi replied that he was not afraid of stone-throwing, and rebuked the demonstrators for hurting peaceful members of the crowd. Gandhi left .protected by a cordon.
