MEN STRUCK FROM BALLOTS TOTAL OF 558 NAMES 44 OTAGO HEN AFFECTED A supplement to the ‘ New Zealand Gazette,’ issued to-day, cancels the notices appearing in the ‘ Gazette Extraordinary ’ of October 2, 1940, November 6, 1940, December 4, 1940, March 4, 1941, March 26, 1941, April 29, 1941, May 7, 1941, June 24. 1941, August 6, 1941, and August 19, 1941, concerning the calling up for service with the Armed Forces of the men set forth in the schedule for the reasons stated (E.F. indicates that the men were called up in a ballot for the Expeditionary Force and T.F. the Territorial Force).
