Mr J. Dixon left for Christchurch this morning by the express. Sergeant R. M. jyblnfosh, lately on leave in Duuediu from tlio 2nd Battalion of the Wellington Regiment (City of Wellington’s, Own), left by the night express yesterday to join tbo new Tank Corps. Mr W. R. Brugli returned from Wellington on Saturday afternoon. Mr A. E. Mabin, Wellington, has been re-elected president of the New Zealand Woolbrokers’ Association. He has previously occupied that position on 10 occasions. Dr C. H. Kellaway, director of the Hall Medical Research Institute, Melbourne, left Auckland recently by the Honolulu Clipper for the United States and Britain on a special medical research mission for the Australian Government.
