TAIERI CROQUET CLUB
The opening of the Talcri Croquet Club lawns for the season look place on Saturday at Mosgicl. Visitors assembled on the lawns, and the president (Mrs R. Weddcrspoon) welcomed the guests, and called on Mrs McGregor, who represented the Otago Croquet Association, to address the gathering. After an appropriate speech, Mrs McGregor made the first hoop and declared the lawns open. The Dunedin city clubs were well represented. Afternoon {ca was served by club members.
