At church parade the padre had spoken about the wages of sin and had freely quoted the Ten Commandments. Coming out of the churchyard the black sheep of the regiment thought deeply for a few minutes, then turned to his pal. “ Ah, well,” he said. “ I’ve never mado a graven image, anyway.”
