VISIT OF BOYS' CHOIR
Dunedin music lovers, particularly those interested in the “ music m schools ” movement, will be interested to know that arrangements have been completed for an appearance here of the Southland Boys’ High School Choir This will take place at a concert organised by the Choral Society in the Main Town Hall on October 18. The Southland Boys’ Choir, 60 strong, is under the conductorship of Mr Kennedy Biack. The choir’s repertoire is .interesting and diversified, ranging through operatic choruses, folk songs, and adaptations from the classics. The Dunedin Choral Society is also preparing a group of partsongs for inclusion in the programme, and it is proposed also to present Dr James Lyons’s interesting work, 1 The Keeper of the Cinque Ports.’
