SYDNEY’S STORM
MISSING CHILDREN FOUND Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright
(Roc, 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 3. The three missing children were located safe. They were trapped in a school outhouse, the door of which was defective and jammmed while the girls were sheltering, and they were unable to reopen it. Their cries for help were not heard owing to the fury of the storm, and they remained huddled together overnight, little the worse for their experience. [A previous message stated: During the height of the gale a number of homes and buildings in Sydney were unroofed and accidents were numerous. One man was killed and many other persons were injured. The police are searching for three little girls, who, it is feared, have been swept down a stormwater channel in Auburn suburb.]
