GOLDEN WEDDING
A pleasant hour was spent when a party of members of the Dunedin Builders’ Association visited the residence of Mr and Mrs J. Wood to offer them congratulations upon the attainment of the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding.
Mr Wood is one of the oldest master builders, and is held in high esteem by I all who know him. In making a small j presentation to Mr and Mrs Wood, on i behalf of the members, the president, Mr F. L. Lawrence, remarked that from the appearance of the recipients it would be necessary to keep a careful note of the date, so that in another 10 years a further visit might be paid to offer felicitations upon the occasion of their diamond jubilee.
