RATEPAYERS’ ASSOCIATION ' A meeting of the executive of dm Morninglon District Kij.tepnycrs anil Householders’ Association was hold ou Saturday night, when dm president (Mr A. S. Cayzer) occupied die chair. It was reported diat the chairman of the Works Committee had met several residents of Springliit 1 road and Crpsby street and representatives of the association, and an inspection of these particular streets was made. It was expected that improvements would be carried out at an early date. . It was agreed to make a renewed request to the City Corporation for the formation of footways And the constructing of kerbing and channelling in Bernard street, and to ask for the crossing in Kenmure road at the top of Galloway street to be asphalted. The question of several streets not having name plates was raised, and the matter was held over until next meeting. Members were requested to note where name plates were required. It was decided to ask for the replacement of a seat on the Queen’s Drive at the back of the High Street School.
