ST. ANDREW SOCIETY
The monthly social was held on Saturday night in the Wilson Hal!, when a large number of members and friends were present. The president (Mr T. E. MMnnes), accompanied by Mr P. W. Knight and Mr Stewart (past chief of the Scottisli Society, Balclutha). were piped to the platform by the official piper (Mr J. M'Bcan). The President made special reference i.o the presence of Mr Stewart. Items were rendered during the evening by Mrs Henderson, Miss Liddell, and Mr Stuart Fox. The remainder of the evening was spent in dancing old-time Scottish country folk dances.
