MENINGITIS GASES

TWO iff FAR NORTH (P.A.) WHANGAREI, Sept. 29. Two men suffering from oerebro-spinal meningitis were admitted to the Whangarei Hospital during the week-end. One is a 19-year-old Maori Territorial from the Kensington camp, who returned recently from week-end leave spent at his home north of Kaitaia. The other is a Samoan, aged 29, of Whangarei, who was admitted last night. Both are stated to be seriously ill.
