Daily Intercession
FOR KING AND EMPIRE. O God, by Whom kings reign and princes decree justice, lead and deliver us in this hour of national danger, suffering, and sacrifice. Bless our King and Queen, the Queen Mother, and the Royal House. So guide the Empire’s counsellors with Thy spirit of wisdom and might that the cause of right and freedom may prevail, and the cause of cruel power be broken and overthrown. O God go forth with our armies, not for vengeance but for defence, for deliverance of the nations into freedom, and for the founding of a world-wide peace in equity and brotherhood. Scatter them that delight in war, and bring peace again; through Jesus Christ our Lord. .
