ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
CHILD SCALDED. An infant named Edward William Jones, aged one year and eight months, was admitted to hospital at 7.30 p.m. yesterday suffering from scalding on the face and chest receivd when boiling water splashed over him from a bucket. His parents reside at Gordon road, Mos§ie ’ CHILD DROWNED. A Wellington Association message states that Alan Jones, aged two and a-half, of Lower Hutt. missing from his home for about three hours, was-found drowned in the Waiwhetu stream. The child was soon crossing a nearby bridge, from which he is believed to have fallen into , the stretun.
