DIAMOND WEDDING
On Sunday, June S, Mr and Mrs William Paterson, of Fiiield street, Roslyu, celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary, having that day concluded 60 years of married life. A very happy afternoon was spent with old friends at the residence of their daughter, Mrs W. F. Meek, Highgate. Mr Paterson is very well known as the' secretary of the Early Settlers’ Association. Mr and Mrs Paterson wore married at the bride’s home, “ The Glen,” Romahapa, by the Rev.' 15. Bannerraan, on Juno 8, 1881.
