WEDDING
MALTHUS—JONES.' For her wedding, which took place on Saturday afternoon in Christchurch, Miss Cecile Jones wore a cornflower bine woollen suit with lint to match, with a spray of freosdas and cream rosebuds. Her bridesmaid, Miss Judith Callaway, chose a suit of deep rose wool with hat to tone and a spray to match that of the bride. The bridegroom, Leading Aircraftman L. Malthas, was attended by Mr T. Burton as best man. The wedding was a very quiet one, and after the ceremony Mrs Jones, the bride’s mother, entertained some 25 guests at Warner’s' Hotel.
