FRIDAY’S COMMUNITY SING
The weekly sing will bo held in the Strand Theatre, commencing at 110041. A special attraction will bo the first appearance of the Ravensbourna Mothers’ League Choir, under the conductorship of Mrs Arthur Xcwey, who will sing ‘ 0 Peaceful England,’ ’ Blue Danube Waltz,’ ‘ Cornin’ Thro’ the Rye,’ Proceeds are for tho_ “ Comforts for Fighters ‘ Fund. Donations can bo sent to Mr J. F. Himburg (care Beggs). Mr H. P. Desmoulins is leader, with Mr Alf. Pettitt at the piano. Flowers and goods are wanted for the stall.
