PARTY CAUCUSES
SUBJECTS FOR BRIEF SESSION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 10. A wide range of subjects was covered at the caucus of the Parliamentary Labour Party to-day, stated the Acting Prime Minister, Mr Nash, to-night. The caucus met in the morning and continued for three hours and a-half at night. .. Mr Nash said that every political subject under discussion in_ the past month had been reviewed. No decision had yet been made regarding the date of the Waitemata by-election. Mr Nash also stated that it was decided to send messages of goodwill to Air Fraser, to Lieutenant A. G. Hultquist (Bay of Plenty), and Lieutenant C. F. Skinner (Alotueka), both of whom wore serving with the N.Z.E.F. A message was also sent to Mr H. T. Rat an a (Western Alaori), who is indisposed, and a resolution of sympathy in the deatli of Captain -W. J. Lyon was adopted, members standing in silence. An appropriate message is to be sent to Airs Lyon and the family. The Opposition also hold a caucus to-uight. The Lender of the parjty, Air S. G Holland, said that questions to bo raised in the secret session to-mor-row and the course the Opposition is to take in the Imprest Supply Bill debate later in the week were fully discussed.
