EX-DUNEDIN NAVALS
The annual meeting of the Ex-Dunedin Naval Artillery Association was held 'ast Tuesday, the president (Mr W. B. Fowler) being in the chair. The balance sheet and report showed the affairs of the association to be in a satisfactory condition. The election of officers resulted as follows Patron, Sir James Allen; hon. vice-presidents,. Dr W. Newlands and Mr G. Nauman; piesident, Mr L. Walmsley; vice-presidents—Mr C. Turner, sen., Mr J. Barnes, jun.; auditor, Mr Pi Beaumont; secretary and treasurer. Mr J. Baird; pianist, Mr P. Beaumont ; trustees, Mr J. Turner and Mr A. W. Palmer; committee —Messrs W. Milward, H. Docherty, G. Garbutt, J. Calverley, G. Mitchell, C. W. Adkins, C. Eiddell, M. Caddie, and H. Porter. It was decided to hold the annual reunion early in September.' Other functions were left to the new committee to arrange.
