(b) A separate Rate, to be known as the HOSPITAL RATE, under the authority of Section 52 of “ The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Acc, 1926 ” of SIX PENCE (6d) in the Pound (£) upon the value of the rateable property as appearing on the Valuation Roll for the time being in force in the City of Dunedin. (c) WATER RATES under Section 82 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933.” as follows—that is to say ; In respect of the ordinary supply; Upon all lands and buildings to which water is supplied, the rateable value of which on the Valuation Roll does not exceed £l2 10s, a rate of 10s; exceeds £l2 10s, a rati of 3J per cent, (or NINE PENCE (9d) in the Pound (£) on such value. Upon all lands and buildings to which water can be but is nob supplied, situate within 100 yards from any part of the waterworks. And Upon all buildings used as stores or warehouses or for any purposes other than as dwelling-houses, a a rate of ONE-HALF of the rate* abovementioned. (d) A SANITATION FEE under Section 90 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933 ” of THIRTY-EIGHT SHIL. LINGS AND SIX PENCE (38s 6d), per pan for the removal of NIGHTSOIL bn all premises within the City of Dunedin to which such service is given. (e) GENERAL SEWERAGE RATES as hereunder set forth under “ The Dunedin District Drainage and 'Sewerage .Act, 1900 ” and Amendments thereof, and in pursuance of a resolution passed by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board ordering such rates to be made and levied by the Dunedin City Council, viz:— (1) Upon every SEWERED PRO- I PERTY, a rate called tbs GENERAL SEWERAGE RATE, of ONE SHILLING AND THREE PENCE (Is 3d) in the Pound (£) of the anual rateable value of such property. (2) Upon every UNSEWERED PROPERTY, save such as are mentioned in paragraph three (3) hereof, a rate of SEVEN PENCE HALFPENNY (7id) in the Pound (£) of the annual rateable value of such propertv. (3) Upon every UNSEWERED PROPERTY in the OUTER DRAINAGE AREA, A GENERAL DRAINAGE RATE of TWO PENCE (2d) in the Pound . (£) of the annual rateable value of such property. The whole of the aforementioned rates and charges are payable on the rateable value of each property as appearing on the Valuation Roll for the time being in force in the City of Dunedin in one suni in each case on the 4th day of JUNE, 1941, at the office of the Dunedin City Council. The additional charge of 10 per cent, provided for by Section 76 of “ The Rating Act, 1925,” will be imposed on all the abovementioned Rates which shall Remain Unpaid after the 18th day of DECEMBER, “AND NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Valuation Roll and the Rate Book are OPEN FOR INSPECTION by all persons concerned at the Municipal Chambers.
