CHOICE OF DELEGATES CHALLEKGED [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 8. Dissatisfaction with . the_ Government’s selection of the Minister of Lands. Hon. F. Langstone, to go to the United States to initiate and promote trade negotiations was expressed at a meeting of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce to-day. Disclaiming political Jnias, Mr Gainor Jackson said the Minister was not qualified to represent the farmers and not sufficiently versed in the other side of business to represent the importers, and he could not be considered satisfactory from the diplomatic viewpoint. A motion, proposed by Mr Jackson, that the chamber should express its disappointment at the appointment of one with so few qualifications, and such limited experience as Mr Langstone for such an imporant mission was carried unanimously.
