PERSONAL
—Ministerial.— The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. P. Fraser, will leave Wellington tomorrow night for Rotorua, where on Tuesday afternoon he will open the new Native school at Whakarewarewa. This school was started during the time Mr Fraser held the portfolio of Education. Mr J. H. Gilbert, general traffic manager, Union Steam Ship Company, returned to Wellington by to-day’s express. Mr W. G. Robertson loft by the midday express to-day for Masterton. Mr R. J. A. Stirling, railways traffic manager at Dunedin, returned by the express yesterday afternoon from a visit to Christchurch. At a meeting of tho Tuapeka County Council yesterday it was decided to request Mr J. George, of Roxburgh East, to offer himself as a candidate for a seat on the Otago Hospital. Board to represent the county and the boroughs of Lawrence, Roxburgh, and Tapanui. Mr George consented to stand.
