MOSGIEL SCHOOL COMMITTEE
MONTHLY MEETING Mr E. W. Cate presided at the monthly meeting of the Mosgiel District High School Committee. The invitation of the Mosgicl and District Uetnrncd Soldiers,* Committee to take part in the Anzac Day commemoration was accepted. The application of the Mosgicl District
Home Guard for use of the school grounds for parades was granted. Accounts totalling £32 17s 3d were passed for payment. The rector's application for materials for the work in the crafts room was granted. Some of the samples of work done in this department were exhibited to the committee and much admired. The Rector reported that 26 swimming certificates had been awarded- to school pupils at the recent competitions, ami that a successful school sports meeting had been held on the Recreation Ground early iu the month.
