ANNUAL SWIMMING SPORTS TWO RECORDS BROKEN Two records .were broken and another equalled at the annual swimming sports of St. Hilda’s Collegiate School, which were held in the Municipal Baths yesterday afternoon. Betty Moore lowered the existing mark of 33sec for the junior 33 I.3yds breast stroke by ■ 4-ssec, and Judith Johnson, also competing in the junior championship, won the 50yds free style in 46 l-s»ec, Sseo faster than the previous record. The same girl equalled Kona Clapperton’s record of 35ft 6in in the junior long plunge. The junior cup competition was very .keenly contested, and resulted in a tie between Betty Moore and Judith Johnson, each with 16 points, Audrey Smith being third with 6 points. The senior championship was also productive of good competition, the cup being won by Pauline Fulton with 15 points, Kona Olapperton- and Enid Burgess being run-ners-up with 10 points each, , The arrangements for the programme, which was put through in quick time, were .in the hands of the sports mistress (Miss Fitchett), Results:—
