SOUTH OTAGO PRESBYTERIANS The tenth animal camp of the South Otago Presbyterian Young Men’s Bible Glasses was held during Faster in the Milton Sunday School Hall. There were about 25 registrations, most of the men finding it possible to spend the whole time in camp, including three ministers of the Clutha Presbytery—Revs. S. T. Nidiolls (Milton), 0. "I, Baragwanatli (Balclutha), and W. S. Brettell (Waiwera-Warepa). Other ministers of the Presbytery visited the camp to address the campers. The theme of the camp was set by studios, which were based on Rev. ,1. C. Jamieson’s study book, ‘ The Cross and the Empty Tomb.’ Appropriate addresses were given by Rev. W. S. Brettell, Mr N. Whittington, of the Theological Hall, Revs. J. R. Shaw, A. R. Harper, and O. T. Baragwanatli. Ucv. S. T. Nmholls, of Milton, officiated as “ camp father,” and, Sunday services were conducted in the Milton Church by Very Rev. Geo. H. M‘Ne»r, of China, and Rev. A. R. Scott, assisted by campers. Mr M'Neur had lunch with the campers and spoke to them of the work that the Bible Class representatives, Rev. and Mrs H. Davies, are doing in China. As a spontaneous gesture of goodwill, the campers gave Mr M'Neur a thankofferings of £1 10s towards the relief of distress on the Chinese mission field. Several friendly * outings, football matches, and a sports meeting, at which the Waiwera team carried the honours of the day, helped to make tlio Easter season a memorable one for all.
