TERRITORIAL BALLOT
DRAW TO APPEAR APRIL 29 [Pee United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 18. The result of the sixth ballot, containing the names of men on the register who since the last Territorial ballot have either attained the age of 19 and thus become liable for Territorial service, or else have attained the age of 41 and have thus ceased to be liable for overseas service, will be published in an Extraordinary Gazette on April 29, according to an announcement by Mr Semple to-day.
Tho Minister added that it would be necessary to close the register some days in advance of publication of tho names, because of the time taken for preparation and printing etc., with the result that the names of some reservists reaching 19 on or shortly before April 29 would bo omitted from the notice. These would appear, however, in the next cailing-up notice in about a month’s time.
