HAY.—On April 17th, 1941,' at the residence of her daughter (Mrs I. Holland), Bavensbourne, Helen Catherine, beloved wife of the late William Hay, Cedar Bush, Port Chalmers; in her eighty-fifth year. Private interment on Saturday at 3 p.m.— Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. STABLES.—On 17th April, at his residence, 71 Aro street, Wellington, John William, loved husband of Margaret Stables (lato of Dunedin). THOMAS.—On April 17. 1941 (suddenly), at Dunedin, William John, beloved husband of the late Barbara E. Thomas, of 39 Riselaw road, Caversham; aged 68 years. “Thy will be done.” —The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 219 George street, Tomorrow (Saturday), the 19th inst., at 1.30 p.m. (service at 1.15 p.m.) for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—R. M’Lean and Son, funeral directors. WESTWOOD.—On April 18, 1941, at Dunedin, 26/1756, Pte. Robert Westwood (Rifle Brigade), Icved son of the late Robert and Isabella Westwood, Saddle Hill; in his fifty-eighth year. “ A patient sufferer gone to rest.” —Funeral will leave our Chapel, 29 Marion street, on Saturday, 19th inst., at 2 p.m., for the Green Island Cemetery. —C.
