LONDON OPINION OF LATEST AIR RAID - f WAVES OF NAZI BOMBERS (By Radio.) LONDON, April 17. London has experienced another air attack on “blitz" scale, many people declaring that it was the heaviest raid of the. war. The first bomber to appear arrived early in the evening and was shot down in spectacular fashion. After that the Nazi bombers came over in waves, dropping high explosives and thousands of incendiaries. The anti-aircraft barrage was fierce, and British fighters were continually in action.
