LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
CITIZENS’ ASSOCIATION CANDIDATES At a meeting of the General Committee of the Dunedin Citizens’ Association held this morning the following candidates for the local body elections were approved. In the case of the City Council it was decided to restrict the nominations to 10, as was done at the previous elections:— CITY COUNCIL. D. C. Cameron, E. J. Smith, J. M‘Crae, John Wilson, W. B. Taverner, M. C. Henderson (all sitting members), T. C. Ross, L. M. Wright, D. C. Jolly, L. J. T. Ireland. HARBOUR BOARD. W. Begg, J. H. Duncan (sitting members), J. Kirkwood, Stewart D. Macpherson, Arthur M'Rae. HOSPITAL BOARD. Miss B.’Farquhar, Mrs N. Ross, W. H. M'Leod, Dr W. Newlands, A. Steel (sitting members), D. Oalder, G. W. Errington.
