MOSGIEL HOME GUARD
Much eiubusiasn] is being displayed in the Home Guard at Mosaic!. The local corps numbers upwards of 100 and tho Allanton ' section 39. The commander (Lieutenant W. B. Willsteed) is training the men in elementary drill on Tuesday nights. The prospective commanders and n.c.o.s arc attending instructional classes in Dunedin. Tim company has been divided into platoons of appropriate ago groups. More recruits (from 16 to 60 years) are needed to bring the company up to strength.
