ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
WEEK-END MISHAPS. Week-end accidents, from which four sufferers, were admitted to the Dunedin, Hospital, all took the same form. Three Caversham residents each broke a right leg on Saturday, and John Wilson, anelderly resident of York Place, brokS* > his left, also in a fall. He was admitted to hospital at 11 a.m.on Sunday, The other three were Robert Williams, aged .eight, who fell at a picnic at Mosgiel; Myra Wilson, who was doing Girl Guide training at the headquarters in Dowling street; and Alfred Rowe, married, of Ferguson street, who fell crossing Cargill road. i ELDERLY WOMAN’S DEATH. Sitting as coroner yesterday afternoon Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., opened an inquest at the Hospital touching the death of Annie Dalziel Perrin, aged 75 years, who died in,the Hospital during the morning. The deceased was a resident'of-186 Macandrew road.'-After hearing formal evidence of identification, the inquest was adjourned sine die. LOCO. DRIVER INJURED., While driving a locomotive on the Sawyers Bay deviation, Frank Clark, a man aged 36, who lives at 383 Malvern street, North-east Valley, broke his leg in a minor accident.- The locomotive slipped back on a decline, catching an overhead obstruction, and Clark’s leg was jammed against the brake-lever. He was admitted to hospital about noon.
