Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, March 16. (Received March 17, at 8 a.m.) The Victoria Racing Club Committee, after a long inquiry, upheld the appeals against the 12 months’ disqualification on Dashing Cavalier, his trainer (J. M'Curley), and jockey (J. Coutts). The stewards imposed the disqualification after Dashing Cavalier won the Autumn Handicap on March 4.

Beau Vite, from a galloping start, did an exhibition sprint over five furlongs in 63*sec, between races at Moorefield. He finished brightly.
