LANCASHIRE AND YORKSHIRE ASSOCIATION
The Lancashire and Yorkshire Society held another successful social on Saturday in the Knowsley Hall. The president (Mr F. D. Swift) was in the chair, and during the evening welcomed new members. A very pleasant evening was spent in dancing and games, and the following items were given:—Songs, Mrs A. Ellis, Mr Longworth; duets, Mrs Brooks and Mrs Brighting; Yorkshire reading, Mrs Walker; Lancashire reading, Mrs Brooks. Supper followed, and the evening closed will) the 'singing of ‘ On Ilkla Moor Ba’li't 'At.*
