FLOCK RACE FROM OAMARU The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club opened its; 19*11 young bird season with a Horde v:in> from Oainnm. The station master liberated 128 birds from IS lofts at 12.50 p.m. in fine weather and a northerly wind which helped put up a good flight in their first attempt at racing. The winning bird
(lew the instance of 59 miles in Ih 12min at a velocity of 1,391yds net’ minute. The following are the results:— M. Anderson's Black Prince 1 A. Scott's First Lady 2 A. Goodman’s Flying 3lao 3 T. Ala cl avish’s First Time 4 R. Fitzgerald’s Storm Toss 5 The club will fly from Tiraaru (109 miles) next Saturday.
