SOCIAL SECURITY, PRACTITIONER SERVICE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I have been interested and amused at the inspired letters appearing in the 1 Star ’ claiming that the Government should not introduce the medical benefits while doctors arc at the war. Anyone would think that doctors were the only ones who were overseas. What about the wives and childien of the soldiers overseas? Are they to be left without medical attention? As far as 1 know there is only one doctor in Dunedin who attends them free, and that doctor is likely to work the scheme. Good hick to the Government I — l am, etc., Vigilant. February 21.
