MR JOHN HOGAN
To all New Zealanders who are concerned for the efficient mobilisation of every ounce of manpower, and of the national resources in the war effort in an endeavour to bring about a speedy and victorious conclusion of the present world conflagration, the address to bo given by Mr John Hogan this evening at the Concert Chamber, should be of interest. Unlike many economists, who lead people to believe that debt and ever-increas-ing taxation burdens are the inevitable result of war, Mr Hogan, after presentation of his subject matter, submits common sense proposals, which he claims completely remove such undesirable results, while greatly facilitating the efficient utilisation of the country’s manpower and resources for the successful prosecution of the war, and the continued defence and development of the Dominion, in the post-war years. Mr D. C. Cameron will preside, and the address is timed for 8 O’clock. Box plan and day sales at D.I.C.
