M'GLASHAN COLLEGE V. ST. KEVIN'S John M’Glashan College played St. Kevin’s College at M’Glashan on Monday in a game in which the bowlers dominated the play except in the last 20 minutes, when the St. Kevin’s batsmen hit out and failed by only one run to turn a first innings deficit into an outright win. M’Glashan made 69 in the first innings, the principal scorers being Irvine 11, Elvidge 11, and Ritchie 10. St. Kevin’s first innings total was 67, Fallon contributing 24 and O’Connor 15. Bowling for M’Glashan, Wilson took three wickets for 28 and Ritchie six for 6, and for St. Kevin’s Hughes took three wickets for 15, Morganti four for 16, and Boyle three for 18. In M’Glashan’s second innings Wilson carried his bat for 40, Ritchie made 11, and Elvidge 10, the total being 94. In St. Kevin’s second strike O'Connor played a good innings for 52 not out and Harper contributed 29 not out. the total at the call of time being 95 for four wickets. For M’Glashan Macdonald took throe wickets for 41, and for St. Kevin’s Hughes took four for 14 and Perkins two for 17. ,
