REPERTORY SOCIETY The Repertory Society’s production of Martin Vale’s exciting mystery, play ‘The Two Mrs Carrolls,’ will commence on December 4.' Tremendously stirring, crammed with action and light with suspense, the play propounds oiie minor mystery after another. th 6 solution of each building to a tense climax. This is a new kind of mystery drama. There is no annoying “ find-tlie-murderer ’’ technique, but a remorseless series of events which lead to an emotional conclusion which cannot fail to thrill the most apathetic. The London production, which starred Leslie Banks, was called “ the best dramatic play seen in a generation.” No pains are being spared to make the Dunedin season the finest repertory effort seen for many years. The production is in the capable hands of Miss Bessie Thomson.
