ARMY APPOINTMENTS

EURHHAH AND ADDINGTON Among the staff appointments in the latest issue of the' New Zealand ‘Gazette’ are the following;— Lieutenant-colonel R. C. Wickens, D. 5.0., Y.D., N.Z. Temporary Staff, relinquishes the appointment of Camp Commandant, Military Camp, Addington, and is appointed Officer Commanding, Composite Battalion, Territorial Force, Burnham Camp. Captain G. H. Mucan, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, 3rd Composite Company, N.Z. Army Service Corps, and retains the appointment of District Supply Officer, Southern Military District. Captain P. A. Bergman, N.Z. Temporary Staff, relinquishes the appointment of District Transport Officer, Southern Military District, and is appointed Adjutant, 3rd Composite Company, N.Z. Army Service Corps. Captain F. MMntosh, M.C.. N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Acting-Commandant, Southern Military District School of Instruction, Burnham, and is appointed Chief Instructor, Southern Military District School of Instruction (Addington wingl. Lieutenant L. A. Kermode, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant. No. 1 Training Battalion, Mobilisation Camp, Burnham, and is appointed Assistant-Infantry 'training Instructor, Mobilisation Camp, Burnham. The ‘ Gazette ’ also announces the following appointment:—■ John Winfcrton Costello, M.D.. F.R.C.S., England, to be Captain (temp.), and is attached to the Ist Battalion, the Otago Regiment.
