BUS SERVICE TO OUNDAS STREET.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —The bus service to and from Dundas street fills a much-felt want, notwithstanding your article in to-night’s ‘ Star,’ and ■ more frequent service would be appreciated. This bus is really a laudable effort to efficiently extend the city’s transport service, and is worthy of the full support of th« residents of the Logan Park district. The Castle street tram does not serve this district, as intending passengers, women with young children, and elderly people from lower Dundas street, have a very steep hill to climb before reaching Castle street, if the Logan Park tram terminus is to be at the corner of Albany and Forth streets this imposes a half-mile walk from Dundas street. We greatly appreciate the action of the Transport Committee in reinstating this bus service, and trust it will bo permanent.— I am, etc., Dundas Street Resident. November 6.
